I also didn't completely ground my cooked peas into paste but I coarsely crushed them.the dough also wasn't so smooth to make parathas since I used soya flour but tasted great.
Ingredients,
Wheat Flour -1 1/2 cups
Soya Flour - 1/2 cup
Cooking Oil- 1 teaspoon
For stuffing,
Peas - 2 cups (coarsely ground or ground into paste)( I soaked dry green peas in water overnight and then cooked it in pressure cooker and then coarsely ground it)
Salt - 3/4 teaspoon
Chat Masala- 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera Powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Red chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Take wheat flour and soya flour and add 1 teaspoon of oil and mix the flours with water enough to make into dough.
- Make 10-11 equal parts.
- Take 2 cups of cooked peas ( either use soaked dry green peas and cook them in pressure cooker for 3 whistles or just cook fresh green peas)
- Add jeera powder,salt and red chilli powder to mashed green peas.Mix well
- Roll the stuffing into 10-11 equal parts.
- Take one part of the dough roll in a small circle put 1 part of the the peas stuffing.Cover it from all the sides and seal it.
- Roll it into circular shape and cook it on the heated griddle on both the sides.Smear oil while flipping on both the sides.
Take the cooked peas,mash them and mix with salt,chat masala
jeera powder and red chilli powder.Divide into 11 equal parts.
Take the soya flour and wheat flour and add 1 teaspoon
of oil and mix well with water.Divide the dough into
11 equal parts.
Roll out each part flat in small circular shape.
Place 1 part of peas mix.
Cover the dough from all the sides and seal it.
Flip it and roll flat into paratha.
Rolled peas paratha.
Put the rolled paratha on heated tava.Smear oil on
top.
Bake on the other side and smear oil on top.
