RawBanana Curry

As a kid I have always enjoyed this curry.Raw banana is a little difficult with peeling had to oil my hands a little before peeling,but this banana I got from the store wasn't stern and was able to peel it more easily and cut them.Raw banana is used in may different ways,some in North Indian gravy,others in chips. This ones being one of my favorites.

Ingredients,
Raw banana-  2
cooking oil--2 tbsp
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
salt- 1/2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
curry leaves - 3 to 4

1. Peel the skin of the banana and cut them into small cubes.


2.Take 2 tbsp of oil a pan ,as it heats add mustard seeds once they start spluttering add cumin
seeds,asafoetida ,turmeric and curry leaves.


3. Add the cut pieces of Raw banana into this toss it for about 10 min .Keep stirring until they loose their tender white color .



4.Add wheat flour,salt and red chilli powder and mix it until the wheat flour is completely incorporated into the banana pieces.


5.serve hot with rice or rotis.
