Three bean salad is made from fresh green beans,black beans and red kidney beans.All the three beans are high in fibre thus helpful for people in many different ways.They are helpful in providing good cardio vascular health.The combination of these three beans offers nutrition and with seasoning it has great taste too.
Today's generation is so much aware of so many facts and has made us to cook at home more of veggies and salads which offer a good nutrition and also to make food have a little variety .Today's moms are more likely to make salads at home and thanks to all the Restaurants which are offering a lot of salads .Making kids aware of salads is more easier.
Ingredients,
Green beans - 1/2 cup (cut in 1 inch pieces and blanched)
Red kidney beans - 1/2 cup
Black beans- 1/2 cup
For Dressing,
Onions - 1/4 cup (chopped in small pieces)
Parsley- 1 1/2 tbsp ( I used curly leaf parsley,finely chopped leaves)
olive oil- 1 tbsp
Garlic Salt- 1 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tbsp
- Soak black beans and red kidney beans in water fro about 10 hours and then cook them.(I cooked them in pressure cooker)
- Drop the green beans in boiling water for 4-5 minutes and take them out.
- For dressing take onions,parsley oilive oil,garlic salt and black pepper powder and mix well.
- Take the blanched beans ,cooked red kidney beans and black beans.Mix well.
- Add the prepared dressing and mix well.
Soak red kidney beans and black beans in water overnight
or for 8-10 hours.
Cook them.
Blanch the cut green beans.
Mix onions,parsley,garlic salt,black pepper powder and
olive oil in a bowl for dressing.
In a large bowl take green beans ,cooked red kidney
beans and black beans,mix well.Add the prepared
dressing.
