Green Chutney Sandwich

I already have a post on Green chutney in my blog. This is a very easy to assemble and great tasting sandwich.
I have used cucumber slices in my sandwich.I have also tried this with tomato slices, bell pepper slices and onion slices all together.
The taste of mint and coriander adds a nice flavor to this sandwich. This recipe comes in handy for gatherings, especially when you are having potlucks.
Below ingredients are for 1 sandwich only.

Ingredients,
Green chutney/ coriander and mint chutney - 2 teaspoons
Butter- 1 teaspoon ( I have used salted butter)
Cucumber- 10-12 thin slices
Bread - 2 slices (I have used whole wheat bread slices)

  1. Take 2 bread slices and trim off the edges.
  2. Apply green chutney on one side of one slice of bread and butter on one side of the other slice of bread.
  3. Place the slices of cucumber on the green chutney applied slice of bread right on top of the green chutney spread.
  4. Place the butter spread slice of bread on top of the cucumber slices so that the butter applied side comes right on top of the cucumber slices.
  5. Cut the sandwich diagonally or into small bites and serve them.
  6. For best taste make it right before you are ready to eat.
Trim off the edges of the bread slices.

Apply green chutney and butter to the bread slices.

Place cucumber slices on the green chutney applied
slice of bread.

Place the butter spread slice of bread on top if the cucumber
slices and cut the sandwich diagonally.
