Coconut Mint Chutney

I happened to eat this at a small cafe .I was just so famished , there were only a few things available as it was almost late for us to be there for breakfast.I generally say no Idlis,but i had no choice this time.They had ran out of everything with only Idlis and coconut mint chutney.I reluctently said ok will have two Idlis.
After eating this with coconut and mint chutney i really loved the Idlis.
I was content with my breakfast and the next time I made this at home when I made Idlis ,everybody appreciated it.
Here comes my recipe for coconut mint chutney,

Ingredients,
Fresh Coconut - 1/2 cup (grated)
Pudina /Mint- 1/4 cup
Green chillies- 3
Roasted chana dal- 1/4 cup
cumin seeds- 1/4 tbsp
salt- 1/4 tbsp
water- 1/2 cup

Grind all the ingredients except coconut and water.
Then  add coconut and water and grind it into a fine paste.
Add tempering .

Tempering,
Cooking oil- 2 tbsps
mustard seeds- 1/4 tbsp
Cumin seeds- 1/4 tbsp
Hing/ Asafoetida- 2 pinches
Curry leaves- 3 to 4.

Heat oil ,add mustard seeds.As they start spluttering add mustard seeds and then cumin seeds.
Turn off the heat and add hing and curry leaves.
Pour this over chutney.
