Moong daal dosa

Moong is very good for health,so i usually make Moong daal dosa as frequently as possible.During the week days when we have spicy food as curries ,this Moong daal dosa works best for the breakfast.

Ingredients for Moong daal dosa,
Moong daal-1 cup
urad daal-1/4 cup
channa daal-1/4 cup
ginger-1/4 tbsp(grated)
salt-1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds powder- 1/4 teaspoon.(optional,fenugreek seeds powder give  nice aroma to the dosa)


  1. Soak moong daal,urad daal and channa daal for 3 hours.Grind it in a blender to a fine batter with water.Add the grated ginger,fenugreek seeds powder and salt to it.
  2. Take a laddle full of batter and make dosas.Spread a spoon full of oil /ghee all over.
  3. Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.
(Once the tava is hot put the stove on low flame.Spread the dosa batter and then put the stove on slightly higher than medium flame..)
