Multi Bean Soup

The very first thing that comes to my mind to do something quick and healthy is soup.I keep trying different kinds of vegetables to my soup.Sometimes I even try to add kidney beans or add some cooked pasta to it.This soup is done completely home made ,I haven't even used vegetable stock.I got this mixture of 15 kinds of beans ,soaked a cup of it overnight and cooked them in pressure cooker for the soup.I have made my own simple spice powder to add it.Recipe got from a very good friend.

Ingredients,
15 bean soup mix / mixed different types of beans- 1 cup (soaked overnight and cooked)
Garlic - 1 tablespoon.( finely chopped)
Onion - 1/2 cup ( cut into small pieces)
Carrots - 1/2 cup (cut into small pieces)
Beans -1/4 cup
Tomatoes -1/2 cup
Olive oil - 1 tablespoons
Water - 1 1/2 cups
Salt and pepper - according to taste.

For the spice powder-
Coriander seeds -1 teaspoon
Cumin -1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 4-5
Cinnamon - 1/2 an inch
Bay leaf -1

Mix these spices into powder.

Cook the mixed beans.

Take a tablespoon of olive oil in a pot add minced garlic ,sauté it.

Add onions,beans and carrots.After sautéing for a minute add tomatoes and sauté.

Add water and the cooked beans until the soup thickens.

Add salt and pepper according to taste.

Soak the mixed soup mix beans overnight or for eight hours
and then cook them(I cooked in pressure cooker for 3 whistles)


Chop you choice of veggies.

Take a tablespoon of olive oil in a pot add minced garlic ,sauté it.
Add onions,carrots,beans(or you choice of veggies) and saute.


Add cooked beans mix.


Add water.Add the spice powder prepared and bring it to boil.
Add salt and black pepper according to taste.

and bay leaf.
